Methodology
  • Unit: Country-pairs, not unique agreements. AfCFTA inflates Africa's density.
  • Year: Signature year, not entry into force.
  • Entry types: Base treaties & accessions only. Consolidated excluded.
  • Withdrawals: 1 row removed (post-2017 withdrawal in force).
  • Sub-regions: UN M49 basis. Iran, Georgia, Turkey → West Asia.
